Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), one of the largest local governments in Asia, needed to recruit 936 clerical staff with strong Marathi and English typing skills but previously relied on subjective interviews and had limited internal assessment capability. To create a fair, transparent, and scalable process, MCGM engaged MeritTrac to provide a first‑of‑its‑kind end‑to‑end computer‑based test (CBT) recruitment solution.

MeritTrac delivered a complete CBT service—online applications and auto‑screening, venue booking and scheduling, admit cards, question‑paper design, test‑day administration and result processing—running 60 MCQs in Marathi plus 10‑minute English and Marathi typing tests across 14 locations, scheduling ~72,395 tests from 1.2 lakh applicants with 250 test administrators.
