California Credit Union, a $3 billion credit union serving more than 165,000 members in southern California, faced inefficiencies from using separate systems for loan origination and deposit account opening and needed stronger mortgage compliance (TRID) and reporting capabilities. The credit union sought a single, user-friendly platform with cross-sell functionality and better integrations to streamline branch workflows and decentralize funding.
MeridianLink implemented LoansPQ® for consumer loan origination, XpressAccounts® for deposit account opening, and LendingQB® for mortgage processing, plus integrations with partners like DocuSign and DocMagic. As a result, consumer loan production exceeded goals by 110% (adding $294.9M), cross-sell funding jumped 150% (from $0.6M to $1.5M month-over-month after training), mortgage originations rose 9% (693 to 757) and funding grew 18% (≈$241.6M to $285.1M), and the mortgage cycle time was reduced by seven calendar days — demonstrating measurable operational and compliance improvements from MeridianLink’s solution.
