The Society of Actuaries (SOA), a professional organization serving about 26,000 actuaries worldwide, needed to modernize a 2006 proprietary LMS. Course content written in Dreamweaver was not SCORM‑compliant, updates were time‑consuming, multi‑language support was limited, and the system lacked enterprise‑grade tracking, reporting and integration capabilities.

SOA adopted Meridian Global LMS with Claro for content authoring and integrated both with its proprietary grading system and Personify ecommerce. The two‑phase deployment enabled seamless course creation, multilingual delivery (including Traditional Chinese), secure purchasing and automated grading workflows—allowing SOA to manage 30+ courses and certifications more efficiently, improve tracking, and save significant development and management time.
