Ramp, a FinTech corporate cards and spend management platform, needed a way to support a wide range of HRIS integration requests from its diverse customer base without building and maintaining each integration in-house. The company wanted to better connect HR and finance by automating employee onboarding, card issuance, and spend controls for customers with employees across different regions and HRIS systems.

Using Merge’s HRIS Unified API, Ramp added 30+ HRIS integrations, including systems like ADP, UKG, Gusto, and Humaans, and used them to sync employee data such as names, titles, departments, managers, and locations.
