Södersjukhuset, a major hospital serving the Stockholm area, needed a more integrated way to plan, monitor, and analyze finance, personnel, and production data. Before Mercur, much of this work was manual and Excel-based, making reporting, consolidation, and forecasting time-consuming and dependent on individuals.

Mercur implemented Mercur Business Control, integrated with the county council’s data warehouse, to support budgeting, 12-month rolling forecasts, and operational analysis for more than 450 users. The solution delivered over 70 reports and graphs, faster data loading and drill-down, and a user-friendly shared reporting environment that helped Södersjukhuset align around the same numbers and create a total solution for operational planning and analysis.
