Cloetta, the Nordic confectionery company, needed a better way to manage frequent, detailed forecasts across Sweden and Finland while handling large volumes of sales, cost, and earnings data. Working with Mercur, Cloetta looked for a finance solution that could support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis more effectively.

Mercur implemented Mercur Business Control and connected it with Cloetta’s Infor M3 ERP system, volume planning system, and campaign and discount tools to automate parts of sales forecasting and calculate net revenue, warehouse and distribution cost allocations, and other expenses. The result was more detailed earnings visibility by article and customer group, more accurate forecasts, and continuous monitoring of business development, giving Cloetta stronger financial control and faster reporting.
