Easier planning and better analysis at all levels for the University of Stockholm

Stockholm University, one of Sweden’s largest universities, needed a common way to handle budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across many departments and users. Before Mercur was introduced, planning and follow-up methods varied widely, making it difficult to get an overall picture of the organization and compare reports consistently.

Mercur implemented Mercur Business Control as a shared solution for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for about 270 users, with integrations to the financial system, payroll system, and asset register. The result was significant time savings, easier drill-down analysis, and better visibility across all levels of the university, turning tasks that once took days into work that could be done at the touch of a button.
