BillerudKorsnäs, a global packaging materials and solutions company, needed better control over costs, budgeting, and reporting across its manufacturing finance operations. The company used Mercur Business Control to help manage cost control against budget and last year’s actuals, with around 500 users working across cost centers, business areas, and executive levels.

Mercur implemented a system integrated with Microsoft Dynamics AX and connected to the eFlow electronic invoice handling system, giving BillerudKorsnäs detailed analysis down to transaction level and the ability to view scanned invoices directly in the interface. With Mercur, the manufacturing finance team improved efficiency and decision-making through stronger budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
