La Trobe University turned to Mentorloop to streamline its university mentoring program and broaden access to extracurricular skill and career development for students. Using the Mentorloop mentoring platform and app, the university aimed to scale mentor matching, in-app communication, and task management across the program.
Mentorloop implemented its platform—pairing students with relevant mentors, enabling chat and task cards—and after three months participants reported strong outcomes: 83% set clear goals, nearly 90% rated their goal progress 3/5 or higher, and 80% rated mentor helpfulness as good or very good. Students praised the program for pairing them with suitable mentors who helped them learn new ways to apply their skills, demonstrating Mentorloop’s measurable impact on engagement and development.
