American Ambulance Association scales EMS mentoring across 15+ states with Mentorloop

The American Ambulance Association (AAA) sought to develop a structured mentoring program to support emerging leaders in the EMS industry, moving beyond the informal and ad-hoc support that had been the norm. To formalize and scale this initiative, they partnered with Mentorloop and its mentoring software.

Using Mentorloop, the AAA transformed its approach by automating matching, streamlining program oversight, and enabling self-driven connections. The solution successfully scaled from a small pilot to an association-wide program spanning over 15 states. The results include a high Mentoring Quality Score of 4.79, over 454 logged interactions, and tangible outcomes such as increased participant confidence and cultural change. Mentorloop provided the foundation for a sustainable leadership development strategy across the EMS community.
