Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) - Customer Case Study

LISC Twin Cities faced the challenge of connecting and developing staff spread across multiple locations while advancing leadership development and diversity goals. To address onboarding, career navigation, and cross‑site communication, they partnered with Mentoring Complete, adopting its mentoring software and hands‑on program services to launch a formal mentoring initiative.

Mentoring Complete provided matching algorithms, checkpoint forms and onsite facilitation to run the program; LISC’s pilot began with 10 mentor/mentee pairs, grew to 14 pairs in the most recent cohort, and is projected to reach about 15 pairs next round. The Mentoring Complete program increased participants’ confidence, goal‑setting and achievement, led to at least one mentor and four mentee promotions, and produced high rates of informal relationship continuation after the formal program ended.
