A MentorcliQ Case Study
Cardinal Health, a $103 billion health care services company, faced the challenge of scaling and standardizing enterprise-wide mentoring across nine formal programs to build talent, simplify matching, increase mentor availability, and measure impact. To manage pairings, training, agreements and program analytics, Cardinal Health implemented the MentorcliQ mentoring platform.
MentorcliQ provided automated profiling and ranking (including a Visual Personality Survey), pairing algorithms, templates (mentoring agreement), QuickcliQ monthly checks, mid-cycle and final surveys, and reporting. Cardinal Health simplified matching to five focus areas, moved to quarterly enrollment, and used MentorcliQ analytics to track participation and value—resulting in 500 mentor–mentee pairs logging 3,000 mentoring hours from December 2014 to August 2015 and delivering higher engagement, participation, satisfaction and clearer ROI.
