How Mention provides useful social insight to support France’s largest waiting list for Covid-19 vaccination

Covidliste is a volunteer-run French initiative (Hostolab) founded in 2021 to build a secure, reliable national waiting list for Covid-19 vaccinations. With nearly 150 volunteers spanning developers, communicators and data specialists, the team faced falling registration momentum mid-campaign and needed better tracking of online conversations—forums, social media and press—to boost signups, support partnerships with clinics and authorities, and answer public questions; Google Alerts proved insufficient.

By adopting Mention, Covidliste expanded monitoring to forums, social networks and digital news, identified influential partners, and centralized alerts into Slack for faster coordination among remote volunteers. This improved situational awareness and response time, amplified media coverage and credibility (notably around the Vite Ma Dose partnership), and helped the team target outreach to increase registrations and support for vaccination centers.
