Protecting Gösgen Nuclear Power Plant from Web- and Email-Based Cyberattacks

Gösgen Nuclear Power Plant in Switzerland needed a way to give employees safe Internet and email access without exposing the organization to web- and email-based cyberattacks. Its existing homegrown isolation setup was difficult to maintain, creating too much work for the IT team, so it turned to Menlo Security and the Menlo Security Internet Isolation Cloud.

Menlo Security implemented its Isolation Secure Web Gateway in a private cloud, moving active web content execution off endpoints and into a closed virtual browser environment. The rollout was seamless, required no agent or special browser, and reduced maintenance burden while protecting all 550 employees and partners; Gösgen reported confidence that malicious code no longer reaches endpoints and that security operations are now much easier.
