Prioritising customer experience through Digital Banking

UniCredit, a pan-European bank operating across retail, corporate and investment banking, and wealth management in 31 markets, wanted to build a data-driven digital banking app that would help customers better understand and manage their money while improving engagement. To do this, UniCredit partnered with Meniga and used Meniga’s digital banking software to create a more personalized, user-friendly experience.

Meniga implemented features such as financial overview, spending insights, and in-app notifications to support customers with money management. The results were strong: app user visits increased by 50%, in-app transactions rose by 98%, active devices grew by 40%, monthly active users increased by 49%, and average session time more than doubled, helping UniCredit earn a 4-star Google Play rating.
