The Automobile Club of Italy (ACI), through its technology partner ACI Informatica, needed a more efficient way to deliver new digital services while reducing the cost and complexity of maintaining custom apps and personalized off-the-shelf products. As public-sector demands grew, the team looked for a standard low-code platform, and Mendix became part of its modernization strategy.

Mendix was selected to support on-premise deployment, Kubernetes integration, GitLab CI/CD, and reusable model-driven development. With Mendix, ACI Informatica launched an HR application for 560 users, built a roadside assistance mobile app in just 5 months, and sped up development from days to minutes for some tasks. The organization also reduced startup and deployment effort, improved collaboration, and lowered maintenance burden, while delivering at least one new feature release each month.
