WRSTBND, a New Orleans event technology company spun off from Solomon Group, needed a faster and more flexible way to build and run applications for complex event operations like registration, access control, and on-site purchases. Using the Mendix low-code platform, the team moved beyond scattered tools and traditional coding constraints to support rapidly changing event demands at scale.

Mendix helped WRSTBND create a multi-tenant, microservices-based platform running on AWS, enabling real-time event processing and quick updates. The results included support for 125 large-scale events in 2022, over 1.1 million scans at Soundstorm with latency kept under one second, and a seven-person development team producing output that would otherwise likely require 20–25 people.
