Sunray Delivers a Custom ERP to Centralize and Improve Employee Processes

Sunray Construction, a Singapore-based construction and interior design firm with 700 employees, faced heavily manual workflows, scattered data, and slow approvals across departments. Using Mendix, the company set out to replace spreadsheets, PDFs, and file servers with a custom ERP platform tailored to its construction processes and employee needs.

Mendix enabled Sunray to build the ERP in phases, starting with core security, user management, and centralized contact and document handling, then expanding into department modules and a print-to-PDF feature. The results included a 60% reduction in time for critical project workflows, report compilation cut from 2 days to under 2 hours, and a centralized database of around 800 vendors, with about 25% of the Malaysian team already using the system daily.
