A Mendix Case Study
G4S, part of Allied Universal, is a global security and facility services provider whose UK Cash Solutions division needed a faster, more flexible way to develop software and centralize customer activities. With a small in-house team and declining market pressure, G4S adopted the Mendix low-code platform to replace slow, third-party-dependent development and build a modern self-service customer portal.
With Mendix and Mendix Expert Services, G4S built Vista, a unified portal that consolidated customer information, added self-service case handling, automated service tracking, and digitized proof of delivery with e-receipts. The result was a faster, more transparent customer experience and improved internal efficiency; the portal moved from UAT in April 2022 to a pilot launch in August and has since been rolled out to about 50% of the G4S customer base, while also reducing handling time for support teams.
