Siemens Energy Brazil needed a faster, more secure way to replace siloed, factory-specific development and paper/Excel-based processes as it expanded transformer manufacturing. Using the Mendix low-code platform, the company set out to standardize software across sites, improve collaboration between business and technical teams, and create a central source of truth for engineering and shop floor data.

Mendix helped Siemens Energy Brazil build DigiOffice and DigiFloor, digital solutions that streamlined engineering workflows, quality controls, document management, and shop floor tracking. The results included stronger data visibility across teams, faster development of new modules, and nearly $1M in annual savings from eliminating printing and distribution costs, with DigiFloor also expanded to another factory.
