A Mendix Case Study
Roadcard, a Brazilian logistics payments company founded in 2011, needed a faster way to keep pace with changing payment methods, strict government compliance requirements, and a growing backlog from legacy Java, JavaScript, Angular, and Delphi systems. The company also wanted to modernize its payment platform for drivers and logistics providers, so it adopted the Mendix platform with implementation partner TrueChange.
Using Mendix, Roadcard delivered new low-code applications in a fraction of the usual time, including a centralized payment solution that integrated APIs, microservices, and Pix QR-code payments. The results included more than 25% faster development, a 50% customer-base increase within two months of launch, and growth of over 100% for its flagship low-code application. Roadcard also reported that around 90% of new projects can now be delivered with Mendix, improving scalability, security, and collaboration.
