Latitude Wines Scales Logistics with a Custom ERP System

Latitude Wines, a logistics company importing wine and spirits to the U.S., needed to replace spreadsheets and paper-based processes with a scalable system that could handle complex supply chain, customs, and customer-facing operations. The company chose Mendix and worked with Brook Trout Partners to build a custom ERP platform called VinPort.

With Mendix, Latitude Wines centralized purchase orders, shipment tracking, pricing, supplier integrations, and customs workflows into one end-to-end solution. The result was faster delivery of new features, improved transparency, and major efficiency gains, including cutting customs-broker costs from $250,000 a year to about $400 a month and completing a 10,000-label relabeling project in 10 months instead of 12.
