Van Meeuwen, a Dutch supplier of premium lubricants, needed to modernize its manual, paper- and Excel-based lubrication maintenance workflows, which were slow, error-prone, and difficult to scale. The company turned to Mendix and its low-code development platform to build S)MAXX, a digital tool for technicians, engineers, and managers to improve data management and maintenance planning.

Using Mendix, Van Meeuwen built a native mobile, QR-code-enabled, ATEX-compatible version of S)MAXX with task management, data capture, dashboards, and reporting. The solution now oversees 70,000 machines across more than 600 production processes, delivered a 30% increase in production efficiency, and helped identify about 40% more maintenance tasks that had previously been overlooked.
