Enexis Groep Wins Best Enterprise IT Project of the Year by Computable

Enexis Groep, a leading energy provider in the Netherlands, has scaled digital delivery using Mendix low-code to build over 50 enterprise apps. Faced with a business challenge where dispersed field crews made separate trips for routine quality checks—adding time and reducing productivity while already responding to customer maintenance requests—Enexis needed a way to better combine checks with existing service calls.

In 12 weeks the team built a Mendix app that consolidates upcoming checks by location and sends push alerts to crew members when they’re near a site due for inspection. The result: most standalone maintenance trips were eliminated, crew productivity improved, release speed and collaboration between IT and business accelerated, development costs dropped significantly, and the project earned Enexis the Best Enterprise IT Project award.
