DSI Builds Trust in Financial Services by Automating Complaint Management

DSI Foundation was asked to operate the new disciplinary complaints process created by a Dutch law effective April 1, 2015, which required handling complaints against bankers under the Banker’s Oath. With a fixed two-month deadline to deliver a first-release, turnkey web application (www.tuchtrechtbanken.nl), DSI had to build an extremely secure, easy-to-use system that integrated with external systems despite no prior global precedent for such an application.

DSI ran a careful procurement and partnered with Mendix and ManSystems, using Agile sprints to rapidly iterate and deliver the solution on time and on budget. The launched system provides end-to-end complaint handling, strict role-based access controls and audited interfaces, easy configuration for administrators, and monitoring tools for processing times—strengthening security, accessibility and public trust while enabling independent, efficient case management.
