Collin Crowdfund is an online marketplace founded by ex-bankers to connect entrepreneurs with investors and replace traditional bank intermediation for SME financing. Their challenge was to build a modern, highly automated platform that handles the full financing lifecycle—from loan application and screening to completion—so Crowdfund Coaches can focus on advising entrepreneurs rather than manual processing.

Working with Mendix and implementation partner Appronto, Collin launched a secure, stable platform in five months with multiple integrations (e.g., D&B, ID checks, payments) and STP capabilities. The result is an AFM‑approved, end‑to‑end system offering loans of €50k–€2.5M, automated cross-checks, two‑factor authentication, automated communications and reporting, and over €2M placed to date—often raising funds in hours.
