Archway Software set out to help regional and community banks compete with large national banks by delivering modern digital banking experiences despite limited IT resources and budgets. Using the Mendix low-code platform and AWS, Archway built adaptable solutions for online banking, back-office tools, and Customer 360 dashboards, aiming to close the gap between personal banking and better digital service.

Mendix enabled Archway to spin out as an independent software vendor, reuse a common architecture, and deliver new capabilities much faster. With Mendix, Archway delivered WaFd Bank’s online banking portal in 10 months, rolled out a remote wire-transfer feature in six weeks, and helped customers achieve 4x faster delivery overall; one AWS-powered personalization campaign also drove 5,000 new accounts at a bank.
