ABN AMRO boosts workforce productivity 2.5% with Mendix

ABN AMRO, a leading Dutch bank, faced challenges with non-standardized, manual workforce management processes and a lack of suitable off-the-shelf solutions. To support its long-term aspirations, the bank needed a fit-for-purpose platform to optimize employee productivity and manage costs, leading them to partner with vendor Mendix.

Using the Mendix low-code platform, ABN AMRO built a custom Workforce Management application. The solution provided tailored capabilities for both real-time and deferred planning, leading to an estimated €2.8M in business value. The project resulted in 2.5% efficiency gains and successfully onboarded approximately 550 users, all while being developed and maintained at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods.
