The Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE), a small six‑person association that runs statewide member services and CAE exam prep, needed a more trustworthy association management system to manage its financial data and processes. CFO Denise Amburgey turned to MemberSuite’s Finance & Accounting module to centralize accounts receivable, billing and transaction histories so staff could get real‑time updates, accurate reports, and better control over credits and refunds.
MemberSuite implemented real‑time transaction reporting, an accrual revenue‑recognition template, automated bulk invoicing and online refund automation, plus detailed customer and transaction histories. As a result, MSAE cut outstanding credits from three pages to a half page, streamlined refunds and reconciliations for auditors, improved staff efficiency and member trust, and can quickly produce the financial reports needed for month‑end and year‑end—outcomes directly enabled by MemberSuite.
