The New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA), the nation’s largest statewide employer association representing 17,000 organizational members and staffed by 49 full‑time employees, faced a highly customized, brittle AMS that made upgrades costly, reporting slow (reliant on a few SQL users), and left members without online self‑service. MemberSuite implemented a cloud AMS with a custom‑branded member portal, an easy staff console, and strong Open API integrations (including their WordPress site and email marketing platform). As a result, NJBIA reduced staff time spent on member service calls by 30–40%, captured email addresses for about 90% of members, lowered upgrade costs through free cloud updates, and enabled staff to run their own queries and targeted campaigns to improve retention and segmentation—outcomes driven by MemberSuite’s platform and integrations.
