How Married People uses membership to connect

Married People is a faith-based organization that provides tools, training, and event resources to help Christian couples strengthen their marriages. In 2018 they wanted to expand beyond leader-focused resource bundles to a streamlined digital membership exclusively for couples, but needed a solution that integrated with their WordPress site, Mailchimp and Stripe, was easy for a non-coder to set up, and supported multi-seat purchases for churches.

They launched a membership using Memberful—taking advantage of its WordPress integration, Team plan, and simple setup—to deliver a curated, regularly updated library of e-books, videos, date-night guides, and a private Facebook community, plus podcast promotion. Since the January 2019 launch they’ve enrolled over 175 couples (including two churches on Team plans), generated a new revenue stream, and received strong feedback that the resources are helping couples connect.
