Women of Wind Energy - Customer Case Study

Women of Wind Energy (WoWE) is a national association for women in the wind industry that grew from a volunteer group into an organization with local chapters and a one-person paid staff. Before using a dedicated platform, WoWE relied on spreadsheets and email listservs, which made membership management, communications and mentoring difficult to scale.

In 2010–2011 WoWE implemented MemberClicks’ Member Center to centralize member directories, customizable chapter communications, event management and a login-protected mentoring program that captures mentor/mentee preferences and availability. The solution streamlined email and event workflows, enabled scalable mentor matches, improved chapter-to-national coordination, and supported the organization’s continued growth and milestone events.
