MemberClicks, a technology provider for associations and chambers, responded to the COVID-19 disruption of in‑person events by creating MC Thrive, a one‑day virtual conference designed to deliver timely education and a repeatable blueprint for online events. The challenge was to replace the energy and value of live gatherings with a simple‑yet‑powerful virtual experience that served clients and demonstrated a new product.
To solve this, MemberClicks engineered and piloted the ePly Virtual Venue to host spring and fall MC Thrive events, combining a strong speaker lineup, interactive features (like a scavenger-hunt), and complimentary sponsorships. The events attracted nearly 600 live attendees, grew registration from the first edition, helped launch ePly to customers, and drove outstanding feedback—97% likely to attend another event, 91% saying the content was very helpful, and 97% rating speakers as very knowledgeable.
