The Salon & Spa Professional Association (SSPA) is a membership organization focused on continuing education for salon and spa professionals — a necessity for thousands of licensed practitioners (over 30,000 in Minnesota alone). Needing an affordable, scalable learning management system to deliver varied programs and replace a prior revenue‑share LMS, Executive Director Susan Brinkhaus explored MemberClicks’ new MC | LMS to better serve members and administrators.

Since switching to MC | LMS at the end of May 2019, SSPA has kept 100% of about $19K in non‑dues revenue from course sales in under six months, simplified program administration with improved dashboards and reporting, and leveraged single‑sign‑on with Oasis (their AMS) to offer member pricing — attracting six new members specifically for discounted continuing education. The association also gained influence in product development and plans to add more courses and post‑course surveys.
