Midwest Sociological Society (MSS) is a nine‑state professional association for academic and applied sociologists and students, with one staff member, about 900 members and $350K in annual revenue. When Executive Director Jennifer Talarico started in 2016, MSS relied on FileMaker Pro and manual processes that consumed her time with data entry, invoicing and check processing, keeping her from strategic work.
