The Hendricks County Rib‑Fest & Balloon Glow, organized by the Greater Avon Chamber of Commerce, had grown into a large community event with food vendors, live entertainment and family activities, and the Chamber needed a mobile solution to improve the attendee experience. As an existing MemberClicks client, they chose the MemberClicks Conference App and explored using it for a non‑conference event.

Using customizable app tiles (Map & Menu, vendor prices, and an FAQ), the Chamber gave attendees the tools to plan ahead, offered free parking for app downloads to boost attendance, sold additional sponsorships via in‑app logos and post‑event push notifications, and cut signage and print costs. The result was a smoother event with fewer questions, new revenue offsets that covered app costs, and confidence that the app will be essential for future Rib‑Fests.
