World Wildlife Fund - Customer Case Study

WWF, the world’s leading conservation organization working in over 100 countries, wanted world leaders at the UN General Assembly in 2019 to publicly address the emergency of nature loss and support a #NewDealForNature & People. The challenge was making a high-level policy event relevant to both mass audiences and decision-makers by delivering the right messages to the right audiences at the right time.

WWF used Meltwater’s Audiense tools to identify key audience segments and influencers, create tailored Twitter audiences and ads, and monitor conversations around #UNGA74 and #NewDealForNature & People. The campaign generated 1.9 million Twitter impressions, a 12x increase in followers, improved engagement and impressions, and identified five influencer categories to amplify the message.
