The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) faced the challenge of targeting key messages to the right audiences during the United Nations General Assembly to raise mass awareness and drive decision-maker action on nature loss. To make this high-level policy meeting relevant and effective, WWF turned to vendor Meltwater and its media intelligence capabilities.
Using Meltwater's Audience Insights and Audience Connect solutions, WWF identified key influencers and created tailored Twitter audiences to deliver targeted messages and calls to action. This strategy enabled them to effectively promote their goal of a #NewDealForNature & People. As a result of the campaign run with Meltwater, WWF increased their Twitter followers by 12x and reached 1.9 million impressions, significantly improving their engagement rate.
