Vricon is a U.S. geospatial startup that transforms commercial satellite imagery into accurate 3D representations of visible objects on Earth. In its first year the company needed global exposure but lacked monitoring tools and targeted media contacts—press releases through Business Wire weren’t reaching the right journalists, and Vricon couldn’t track or act on product mentions during trade shows and events.
Using Meltwater’s dashboard and influencer database, Vricon targeted countries with the most interest, built journalist contact lists, and set real-time alerts to capture mentions at a major industry conference, enabling timely social responses and theme-driven promotion. The platform also aggregated social channels and provided post-event reporting and measurement, helping Vricon increase awareness, personalize outreach, and capitalize on coverage (including an Associated Press pickup) as it scales.
