MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières) is an international humanitarian medical non-profit working in conflict zones and disease-affected regions. To boost brand awareness and media coverage in India, better monitor public-health conversations and sentiment around its work, and—critically—measure the impact of its media outreach, MSF spent six months searching for a media-monitoring solution.
MSF implemented Meltwater’s Media Intelligence platform to power day-to-day news and social monitoring, sentiment analysis, and journalist discovery with historical context. The tool made monitoring more efficient, improved crisis tracking, and enabled MSF to finally measure outreach impact; the organization also reported that the platform exceeded expectations and the Meltwater team provided timely, practical support.
