German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech), founded in 2007, combines German excellence in science and technology with a grounding in Omani culture to develop research-driven, socially responsible graduates. The university’s PR team, however, struggled with limited visibility into media mentions of the institution, faculty and alumni, had no metrics to assess program effectiveness, and lacked targeted ways to engage students, alumni and prospective stakeholders.
