TimeHeroes is a volunteering platform in Bulgaria that connects people and organizations in need with volunteers. To make its missions more accessible on mobile, TimeHeroes worked with Melon to bring the core website functionality into native iOS and Android apps, while also addressing UX differences across both platforms.

Melon developed user-friendly native Android and iOS applications with customized designs for each platform, implementing features such as mission lists, filtering, comments, and joining missions. The project also introduced data binding and reactive programming, and the result was a simple, intuitive mobile experience that complemented TimeHeroes’ web platform and supported over 37,000 registered users across 1,370 missions in 165 locations.
