Philips partnered with Melon to create a global A&P (advertising and promotion) marketing expenses planning system. The challenge was to move beyond fragmented Excel-based planning and standardize the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting process across Philips markets worldwide.
Melon developed the web-based Global A&P system using ASP.NET and MS SQL Server, delivering an Excel-like experience with centralized data, workflow enforcement, forecasting, and consolidated reporting. The solution is now used in 7 European markets and continues to expand, helping Philips standardize planning, improve user experience, and optimize business processes; Melon also provides ongoing support for monthly planning operations and integrations.
