Philips partnered with Melon to build ROFO (Rolling Forecast Tool), a web-based financial planning, controlling, and forecasting system for its Central & Eastern Europe branches. Philips needed a flexible way to plan revenues and expenses, generate forecasts, and adapt to changing business structures, currencies, and market conditions across multiple countries.

Melon developed ROFO using ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server, with a spreadsheet-style web interface that lets users work efficiently and export directly to Microsoft Excel. The solution now runs as SaaS, supports Philips’ evolving needs, and is actively used by financial controllers and auditors in more than 20 countries, helping improve strategic planning and reporting for over 10 years.
