Advice Online, a Swiss fintech founded in 2012, wanted to create a complete online advisory process that could take a client from first contact through to a state-of-the-art advisory report, while also meeting strict financial regulatory requirements. To deliver this vision, the company partnered with Melon to build the web-based advisory portal.

Melon developed the online portal from the ground up using ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and MS SQL, adding features such as white-label branding, a file browser, investment solution management, and a portfolio manager interface. The result was a major process improvement: advisory work that previously took hours or days could now be completed in less than 10 minutes, while also reducing manual tasks, improving usability, and giving advisors more time for client retention and growth.
