Virgin Hyperloop One’s IT Team Stays Organized with MeisterTask

Virgin Hyperloop, the company developing next-generation Hyperloop transport, needed a nimble task-management solution for its eight-person internal IT team after finding JIRA and similar platforms too cumbersome. Having tried Microsoft Planner and Wunderlist, the team adopted MeisterTask in 2018 for a faster, more flexible way to manage both projects and task lists.

MeisterTask was rolled out using Kanban project boards and one-off project boards (for example, provisioning a new Dubai office), leveraging checklists and task relations to capture meeting items, track dependencies, and automatically notify assignees when blockages clear. The solution helps the IT team maintain network systems for 200+ employees, prevents important to-dos from falling through the cracks, and boosts the team’s productivity and responsiveness.
