The Community YMCA, a charitable nonprofit serving 17 communities from six locations in Monmouth County, faced disparate legacy on-premises phone systems that prevented call transfers, increased telecom expenses, and threatened the loss of long-publicized phone numbers when relocating its main site. To solve these issues the Y selected MegaPath and its MegaPath Hosted Voice service.

MegaPath consolidated all locations onto a cloud-based MegaPath Hosted Voice platform, giving 120 staff access to more than 50 calling features, three-digit extension dialing, seamless transfers, number porting, and mobility tools like Visual Voicemail with Transcription. The result was significant voice and long-distance cost savings that The Community YMCA passes on through lower participant fees and reinvests in scholarships, program expansion and other community services.
