A $2.5B North American railroad (one of the top 10 carriers in the US and Mexico) needed to modernize technology, align IT with business strategy, simplify integrations, and find a tool to support technology investment decisions and enterprise architecture — including integration with ServiceNow and validation of use cases with real data.

MEGA delivered a Proof of Concept and implemented the HOPEX platform (IT Architecture and IT Portfolio Management) with MEGA services via a three‑phase application portfolio management approach. The work created a standardized, centralized IT inventory for faster, better decisions, enabled prioritized modernization and cost efficiencies, and uncovered a potential new revenue stream by preparing their proprietary Management Control System for resale.
