Naval Group, Europe’s leading naval defense company, faced persistent quality and operational problems caused by inconsistent, hard-to-find, and incomplete process documentation. The company set out to simplify and standardize processes, make documentation more accessible, train staff across the organization, and monitor real-world implementation to improve compliance and performance.

Using MEGA’s HOPEX Business Process Analysis and support services, Naval Group rebuilt its Business Management System from the ground up, modeled all processes, linked associated documents, and launched an intranet and company-wide training program. The program centralized governance with a network of 130 local stewards, cut documents by 75% (to 16 macro-processes, 80 sub-processes and 1,200 documents), increased compliance measurement points from 450 to nearly 700, and delivered clearer, more accessible processes aligned with ISO standards—improving operational efficiency, control, and execution.
