L’Oréal’s Talent Acquisition team wanted to turn its annual TA LAB into a fully digital event in early 2020, while saving costs, reducing travel emissions, and adapting to COVID-19. The challenge was to scale the event beyond TA Directors to the full TA community without losing the brand’s personal, people-first experience. L’Oréal chose MEETYOO to help bring the event online.
MEETYOO created a personalized virtual event environment with live sessions, bootcamp workshops, chats, forums, quizzes, and guided content exploration to support an international audience across time zones. The result was L’Oréal’s most-attended talent acquisition conference to date, with 60 topics covered, participants from 50 countries and all time zones, and 10 hours of daily chat availability from the TA International team. Attendees rated the platform as interactive, easy to use, flexible, and relevant, and L’Oréal said the event generated positive internal buzz and inspired other departments to follow with online events.
